  • Wowhead Acquired by Affinity Media

    Wowhead CEO Tim Sullivan recently announced that the site had been acquired by Affinity Media, the parent of the ZAM Network. Affinity is now in control of Thottbot, Allakhazam, and now Wowhead, making it essentially the News Corp of WoW.

    More shocking than Affinity's hegemonic control of WoW media outlets, however, is the fact that Wowhead was purportedly purchased for $1 million. A quick look at the Alexa rankings shows that Wowhead is performing neck-and-neck with Allakhazam, as both sites...
