WOW player stories are umm…. They a….. well they the ultimate level of nerdiness that a person can show for a game. These stories are supposed show, I guess, that there are several things that people can gain out of playing World of Warcraft or something like that. To me this looks like a PR move on Blizzard’s part to show that their MMO isn’t just something that only kids with social anxiety disorder play, or that wives shouldn't worry that they are going to loose their husbands because he plays the game too much, or this game will lead to your son to be burned on 43% of his body because the kid he bullied thought he was a firemage and went nuts with some gas and matches.

In the end they seriously end up being hilariously funny more than anything. For example, the first new story tells of a mother that had a 7 year old kid that had troubles at school and by playing WOW he miraculously became a better student, well it wasn‘t that miraculously but that’s the essence of the story, that WoW had a severely positive effect on the kid. Now the funny part isn’t that spiel the funny part is when the mother says that her son once in a while joins Battleground fights and “goofs off .” And if we see a level 46 human warrior running around naked in WSG we shouldn’t get mad…. Cause he’s just a kid. So now we all know why the Alliance sucks in Battlegrounds.
