I think Exteel gets the record from going from open beta to live game in the shortest amount of time; it took only 20 days of open testing for the folks at NC Soft to say this game was ready for launch. Going live means that a full patch of the game was tested… and basically no changes were made. They added 3 new mechs, a boosters, and a new set of weapons that are just palette swaps of other weapons with slightly different stats. The one actual big change from the beta version is how all the new equipment can only be purchased through NC Coins using real world cash. So far I haven't seen any big differences or reasons to get the newest game additions but later down the line maybe they will add something that will actually be worth spending real cash.

All the info from the Open Beta accounts was kept intact so you wont have to level your mech again from the start. The funny thing about this is that if they would’ve wiped the info there would probably some folks that wouldn’t want to level their characters up again and would’ve spent some cash to get the new equipment.
