Trolls and Rangers unavailable in LOTRO

The folks at Turbine have taken out the ability to use Trolls and Rangers for the monster combat part of the game. Actually let me just copy/paste what they wrote.

"Greetings,

Trolls and Ranger session play will be unavailable until further notice.

We're still examining the issue and we'll keep you posted about any future changes.

Sorry guys. We'll let you know when we can open the session play back up."

There is really no info past this. In the board you can gather a bit more of what looks to be the problem, Rangers were apparently broken somehow and some people didn't like having Trolls and Rangers involved at all.

I just played a bit of monster play and I kind of liked having those two super powered classes there. The trolls totally recreated the scenes from the movies, they are so strong that a couple could basically clear house with enough backing them up. I found it rather enjoyable covering the trolls as is stampeded through anything in their path.

I don't know what was the beef people had with these two guys but now that they are gone the advantage really goes to the PC side. Without the Trolls the only way the monster can win is to outnumber the players by at least 3/1.
