Total MMO
FFXI, banning people, you know the rest

Ok, so this is my third post commenting about Square Enix's zero tolerance on any shenanigans from players in FFXI so you should know what's going on. If you don't then read these posts.
Second set of bans
First set of bans
This time around they have banned 4,400 accounts and temporarily suspended 1,210. This brings a total of around 20,000 accounts banned from the game in three months. And that brings up a couple of questions;
1. How much of the population of FFXI is made up of farmers?
2. How many people buy gold/cheat/etc?
These numbers are ridiculous! And this game has, from the last time I checked, around 350,000 active subscriptions. Imagine if you took these numbers to some of the other MMOs that have very sizable population. The strange thing about all of this is that I thought people were still complaining over the 15 bucks a month they are paying to play the game. I didn't think that they would want to spend more just to cut down a small part of the usual annoying play time.
