Well... technically RF Online has been free to play for some time now but it wasn't really promoted. You had to go through the trial account to get into the game and you ended up with a full account, it was some sort of a weird trip you took and you ended up with the full game but it showed as a trial account. Anyway, Codemasters Online relaunched the game as a free-to-play MMO and now they offer everything you need on their website. All you have to provide is a computer with internet access and a lot of time to get into this game, no work around, no crazy stuff, just go to the site, install and get it cracking.
