The Brewfest is on!

The folks at Blizzard are going nuts over there thinking of new ways to make casual players happy. One of these new ways was included in Patch 2.2.2 with the addition of not only one but TWO holiday events! That's right two! The Brewfest and Hollow's End.
Since the Brewfest is the brand new event we'll talk about that one specifically in this post. Like all the other seasonal events in World of Warcraft, the Brewfest includes the usual unique(level capped) treats, prizes, and events. Most of the events in the Brewfest can be enjoyed by all, so don't worry this isn't just for higher level characters that have tier 15 or something. Other than the mounts and quest to BRD, everything is available to everyone. You won’t need to do naked runs through areas that are too high for your character to find some random hidden guy to talk to for your shirt or dress. The only traveling you'll need to do is to the other home cities and thats pretty much it. Other quests are done around the Brewfest grounds which are just outside the home cities.

The prize list for the Brewfest includes getups to make your character more in touch with the festivities. Two special items to screw around in the game with, Belbi's/Blix's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Googles and the Brewfest Pony Keg. The Googles turn everyone into gnomes/orcs which... i don't know, i guess that's cool or something? While The Pony Keg gives , basically, unlimited free beer, free beer is cool in any realm, dimension, or reality. This includes games.

The best Prize that you can get with the tickets are, i think, the Brewfest mounts. The mounts are the brown dwarf rams that have special Brewfest graphics instead of the usual, " Special mount that are just a different color of normal mount." Actually the level 40 Ram just has a different colors but the epic version has keg graphics for the saddle. They both cost 600 tickets to "start the quest" then 10 gold for the level 40 mount and 100 (rep discounts may apply) for the epic.

To get the tickets to buy prizes for the Brewfest is a straightforward affair, just go to a quest giver, get a quest, complete the quests, get tickets, save or spend on prizes. There's a couple of daily quests that give you a set amount of tickets (40) and then there's the Ram Racing. The number of tickets received for Ram Racing are purely based on your ram riding skills. Every time you complete a full delivery run you'll get 3 tickets, so the more runs you do within the set time the more tickets received.
So everyone head over to Ironforge and Orgrimmar and ready your stomachs because a whooooole lotta drinkin' is going down... and coming up!
