On the second part of our ongoing report on Blizzard’s censoring practices we will be discussing one of the more serious transgressions made on the World of Warcraft by the powers behind the game. The deletion of one of the greatest emotes in all of MMO history, the troll’s /silly command joke, “I kill two dwarves.”

Because we are such outlaw cowboys and such we will now show you the complete uncensored joke so all of you that have never gotten a chance to hear it will now be able to enjoy in the greatness as well. So here it goes… oh, and remember to read it in that Cuban/Jamaica/Caribbean Islander accent.

"I kill two dwarfs in da morning, I kill two dwarfs at night,
I kill two dwarfs in the afternoon, and then I feel alright.
I kill two dwarfs in time of peace and two in time of war,
I kill two dwarfs before I kill two dwarfs, and then I kill two more."

So now I’m thinking that of the people that read the joke (5) more than half (3, more likely 4) didn’t get the joke, correct? And of the people that didn’t get the joke… how do you feel now that you have read it? No different than before right? You see that Blizz? Nothing happens when you don’t know what the source material of the joke is. And if you do, like me, nothing happens either, well cept the laugh.

This joke was obviously taken out of the game because it comes from The Toyes song “I smoke two joints,” A song about a guy that smokes the reefer for a better part of the day. It couldn’t have been about the killing part, and we know this because about 90% of the quests in this game include instructions to kill some one of some thing. So if some one complained about a troll joking about killing the WHOLE game would be taken down.

A game rated T for teen because of, “suggestive themes, use of alcohol, violence, and blood.” Gets a parody of a song that talks about smoking weed taken out because of what? When the few people that wanted to know how the joke came about found out that it comes from a song that refers to drugs, they were immediately going to turn into drug addicts? Hell the whole storyline of the Bloodelf is about an addiction to something! And all the references of THAT in game are not subtle and are all over the place! But that’s ok exactly why?

All of this comes down to artist not wanting to fight over their art. Yes all (most) of the people (not tigole) that work to create this game are artist in the medium of … dammit I have nothing, computer art?

Anyway to end this, come on Blizz you have 10 million folks worldwide playing this game, you have a little bit of clout to throw around when you really want to. So when the time comes do it, do it… do it. If not for you then do it for us.
