Warlocks got WARLOCKED! Hmm doesn't sound as funny when the source of origin is used.

The mailbox got WARLOCKED! OK, that sounds a bit better.
Well its that time of the year again when Blizz goes into its "X thing was not intended" phase and prepares to add some sort of change that will make some people angry, some people happy and some people who simply don't care just continue to play on as if nothing happened.
The problem usually starts with the weird logic of why this is happening and the language that is used to convey the info, Blizzard really needs to just post something like, "We are nerfing DOTs screw you all! Now continue to enjoy the World of Warcraft. This would really solve a lot of headaches.
Anyway in a post made yesterday by Eyonix in the WOW general forum, the community was informed that DOTs will now be affected by resilience. This basically means that Warlocks, the DOT class, will get their damage cut down a bit as well as priests who go on the offensive. Certain Mage builds and some attack/spells in other classes are the going to get hit with the WARLOCKED! (must always be typed in caps) shrapnel too.
When this was put out, of course, everyone went nuts on the board over it and speculations were thrown about like crazy as to what might happen when this adjustment hits the game. That this will only affect arena players, or one shouldn't worry because only the top players with the top armor will actually feel it, or this was something that was needed, etc, etc. The views are dependent on which class the posters are playing to draw their inspiration to see if this is going to be a good change.
In reality, none of us know how this is going to play out until it’s actually done. I mean, we can speculate but because we don't know which wave the masses will ride, we cant really say what this will do to the game. One thing is definite though … Blizz needs to rework the way they make changes to the game because what they got right now does not work at all.
They are changing something NOW because of something that might happen in the FUTURE .
Now i know that you guys who are making the game are always about six months ahead in your development,. You see what the game is going to look like six months from now, but we the players don't have the ability to see what’s going to happen in the year 2000 with WOW. So you make a change and wait to see how it might turn out and for six months we are playing with something that’s crippled, works "too" well, or doesn't work at all, making us change our play style, our tactics, the way we build our character and then … BAM! Oh, that didn't work, lets do something else. I mean come on! Druids anyone? Six months people -- that's 7.99 that I’ve spent waiting to test out what you think might happen. Not cool.
And one more thing, what is up with your community managers, Blizz? Seriously, every time they comment on something dealing with game mechanics, these dudes say something that sounds exactly like what someone who has little knowledge of the game would say.
I mean Drysc buddy … DOTs have no counter? (post has been edited and reworded) then he buries himself deeper, showing us either how little he knows how to play the game or trying to dig himself out using forum logic. I’m voting that he doesn’t spent that much time In the game, either way, it ended up bad. Blizz lets us rant for a bit before you start replying or … have someone who knows something about the classes and the game reply so they don't continuously end up posting something that will only make forum hulk mad.
OK, rant over, here are the links.
